About Us

Established in April 2008, Child’s Play Pre-School is under the ownership and management of two local parents, namely Thea Arthur and Susan Raftery.

Situated conveniently within the United Reformed Church on Portsmouth Road, our preschool boasts a fantastic location directly across from St Nicolas’ Infant School, fostering strong connections with them. Additionally, we are just a 5-minute walk from the town centre, with parking facilities available for parents who prefer to drive.

Our bright and airy playroom encourages free play in the mornings, complemented by an outdoor area always accessible to the children. Operating five days a week, we accommodate various funding options, including 15 hours, 30 hours, FEET, Childcare Vouchers, and Tax Free Childcare.
