We take children from two years old and accept all forms of Government funding, including Tax-Free Childcare and workplace voucher schemes. We offer fully funded places which you can take flexibly. So if you only want to take your free 15 hours, you are able to do that, and you can choose the sessions that suit you best.
The funding landscape is now quite complex, so please do feel free to get in touch with us if you have any questions on how the various schemes operate and how we offer the hours to families. We have tried to make things as simple as possible, we are proud to offer genuinely free places, and we always strive to give parents the days and sessions which suit them best.
Please see our Admissions and Attendance Policy for detailed information on our minimum attendance requirements. We can be flexible if parents want to build up hours over the first half term, or for children who start at just turned two years old.
There are two funding streams for two year olds.
This is for parents in receipt of certain benefits, or who meet other specific criteria. It offers up to 15 free hours per week.

This is for eligible working families and must be applied for in the term prior to taking up a childcare place. It offers up to 30 free hours per week.

Parents can choose how to take their free hours. They can be taken as any combination of the sessions we have available, depending on availability. Time taken over and above the funded hours will be charged at the rate of £9 per hour pro rata.
If you are not eligible for either of the above schemes, our charging rate is £9 per hour.

All children become eligible for 15 hours of Free Early Education the term after they turn three. Child's Play will apply for this entitlement on your behalf when your child becomes eligible. The Free Entitlement is available for up to 38 weeks per year and for up to 15 hours per week.
Parents can choose how to take their 15 hours. It can be taken as any combination of the sessions we have available, depending on availability. Time taken over and above the 15 hours will be charged at the rate of £9 per hour pro rata.

Eligible families can get up to 30 hours of free childcare for three and four year olds. All our sessions can be taken as part of this funding.
