Your personal data

Personal data is data that can be used to identify a person: a name, an email address, a home address, even an IP address. We only ever collect personal data with your explicit permission, and we never share it with third-party marketers.

Registering your interest

We provide a secure form so parents and carers can register a child for a place. The details you give us are encrypted the moment they arrive, which means they are unreadable to anyone who obtains a copy of our database without also holding the key.

We keep a registration for three years, after which it is deleted automatically. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you or your child, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will deal with it.

Cookies

This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies at all.

We measure how many people visit which pages using a system built into the site itself. It sets no cookie. Instead it turns each visitor into a one-way code using a secret that is thrown away and replaced every night, which means the same person cannot be recognised from one day to the next and nothing stored identifies anybody.

The forms on this site are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which tells a person from an automated script so that the pre-school's mailbox is not filled with rubbish. It sets a short-lived cookie when it runs. That is necessary for the form to work, so it is not something you are asked about.

Our film is hosted by Vimeo. The page shows a still photograph and a play button, and nothing at all is requested from Vimeo until you press it. If you do, Vimeo sets its own cookies in order to play the film, which is why pressing play is the choice rather than something you are asked about beforehand.

The only other cookie is the one that keeps a member of staff signed in to the admin area, and it is only ever set for somebody who has signed in.
